The new resource enables sports clubs, community organisations, and the professional workforce to self-assess their offer for disabled people. As part of the assessment, users will understand how inclusive and accessible their current offer is for disabled people and identify areas for improvement.
The tool includes a number of questions, taking approximately 10 minutes to answer, across three key areas: organisation operations, promotion of activities, and workforce. The responses gathered guide users towards a range of relevant resources to help support organisations to make positive changes to ensure their activity opportunities meet the needs of disabled people.
Activity Alliance and Club Matters hope the new Disability Inclusion Club Hub will help clubs and organisations to become more inclusive and accessible for disabled people following the pandemic.
