ukactive and Sport England have announced a consultation to uncover existing and new opportunities to get workforces moving more. The organisations have joined forces to understand what the physical activity sector is doing to support employees to be more active, in addition to exploring how to work more closely to improve the health of working adults.
A report on the research will provide employers, the physical activity sector, and the Government, with clear recommendations for supporting businesses to encourage activity among employees in order to improve workplace wellbeing.
ukactive and Sport England want voices and perspectives from businesses of all sizes to be well represented, as well as insights from ukactive members across the UK.
As well as a survey, the consultation will involve a series of focus groups with representatives from across the business landscape, as well as the physical activity sector.
